Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale was only 18 when she was crowned the winner of a modeling contest in Perth. After doing modeling for many years, Gale became famous in 1999 after she was cast in a commercial campaign run by Omnitel, now Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their ads until the year 2006. In 2003 she was chosen by they announced the Australian Tourist Commission retained her as the 'face of Australia to Italy.' Gale has appeared on the cover of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan and Vogue Italia. Gale has modelled on runways for Italian fashion houses including Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo as well as runway shows on behalf of Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a fan of many Australian fashion designers, including Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. The year 2006 was the last time she served as the fashion commentator for the Australian television awards, known as the Logies. Gale declared in January 2008 she would retire in fashion after 15 successful years. A few weeks later when she was launching the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for her last time on the catwalk. Her final outfit was the Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the upcoming movie Justice League of America. The film premiered in March 2011. Gale returned to the runway to close Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival show. August 2011 marked Gale's 10th anniversary as a designer with department stores David Jones, the longest tenured fashion contract in Australia. Gale was appointed ambassador for L'Oreal Paris the same month. Gale was a part of Beyonce Jennifer Lopez Gwen Stefani. Gale played a role in a L'Oreal Shampoo commercial, which aired across Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
