Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actor is known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the spouse to Henry VIII) in the television show The Tudors. Also for the character of Hannah in the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Her acting career started with the National Theater Iceland when she was just nine years old.
